Pavitra Rishta 2.0: Asha Negi Says, 'I Would Love To Be The Part Of The Show; But It Won’t Be The Same Story' - EXCLUSIVE
Popular television serial Pavitra Rishta is all set to make a comeback with a new season. Fans will get to see Ankita Lokhande reprise her role as Archana in the show
Actor Asha Negi who rose to fame after playing Purvi Deshmukh in Zee Tv’s Pavitra Rishta is keen to be part of the show once again. Audiences' all-time favorite show Pavitra Rishta will be brought back for the fans, reportedly, titled Pavitra Rishta 2.0, the show is said to have Ankita Lokhande playing the role of Archana, whereas Shaheer Sheikh is reported to be taking up late SSR's role of Manav. Speaking to SpotboyE Asha opens up about the show, will she be a part of it too? the actor replies, "I would love to be a part of the show. But I don’t know what exactly will be the story. I am sure it won’t be the same story but yeah whatever the story is I have no idea. Pavitra Rishta 1 was very, very special and I don’t think anything else can match up to that feeling"
The show recently marked 12 years ask the actress what does she miss most about the show Asha says, "I miss being Purvi Deshmukh. I miss playing that character, I did it for two to three years and if anyone would wake me up from my sleep I would still act like her. The character has stayed with me."
She further adds, "My entire life changed through Pavitra Rishta. I have got so many loyal fans, so much fame, so much love, I mean everything that happened to me after that is because of the show. When my parents tell me that you know people sometimes call us “Purvi Ke mummy papa” they like it. Everything I feel, whatever I have, wherever I am is because of Pavitra Rishta." Asha Negi was recently seen in Khwabon Ke Parindey which is currently streaming on Voot. The series also features Mrinal Dutt, Manasi Moghe, and Tushar Sharma. It is directed by Tapasvi Mehta.
